**Last month I was out painting with Ken and Richie in Paradise Valley. We were just about ready to dive into a painting of a road (“Clear Horizons”) when this red pickup pulled up. The man in the pickup asked if we’d like to see the best view of the valley. Not sure if this stranger could be trusted, we sent Richie with him to survey the situation. I quickly dashed in a few color notes of the road before he came back insisting that we pack up our easels and check it out. And I gotta say, it’s one of the most beautiful views one can find in Montana. We’ll be renting the cabin that sits perched up on this hill next week — I can’t wait to see all the paintings that come from it.**
